
This is the new name for our beloved Walk-a-thon, and we are excited about the changes that are in store to make this event more family friendly. Parents, get ready to lace up those sneakers as you will have a chance to participate in the walk/run. The Fund Run provides an opportinity for our children to take part and contribute to our fundraisning efforts and they are always enthusiastic participants. Held on the fall, students collect pledges from their family and friends to walk laps around our beautiful Field of Dreams. Kids from all grades participate and it is a great community event.
We are looking for volunteers who like working outdoors in an active role working directly with the kids the day of the event; who can do food prep, data entry, and food ordering during the weeks leading up to the event; who can lead a small team (for example pizza-servers, lap-markers, etc.); and 1-2 people with spreadsheet knowledge for data entry and letter generation.
